Happy February, Friends! Our little colony is still digging ourselves out of the snow. We had several inches of snow just over a week ago, and more is still on the way! Time to cuddle up with fleece blankets and colony buddies to keep warm.

Nap time!
We have had a big change to the colony the past few months, which is why it has taken so long to get our third book finished up. We finally outgrew our little apartment, and we bought a house! It’s the perfect size for us, not too far from where we were, and it is all ours.

The move was a pretty quick adjustment for some of us. Leo, for instance, was perfectly settled as soon as he figured out where the snacks are being kept. Zik, on the other hand, decided that this new place smells funny and just isn’t right. He is gradually getting used to it. The little guys are so interested in discovering all of the new sights and smells and sounds!
Now that we have been here for nearly a month, I have finally had some time to sit down and do one more revision of book 3. I am super excited to announce that the new book will be titled Woodland Wonderland, and will be released by the end of February! I spoke with my super awesome cover artist recently and she is putting together a cover while I do some last minute story touches.
The new story will take our four fuzzy friends from their safe little home out into the great outdoors! They will meet all sorts of animals, like a friendly raccoon, an energetic woodpecker, a nice chipmunk family, and a super awesome squirrel. As quiet as the woods appear, there is trouble brewing when someone starts taking more than their fair share of the food. It is up to the gliders to figure out who is taking extra food and make sure that everyone has enough, all before the sun rises!
We hope to see all of you for the next story, and keep checking the My Bookshelf page to know when new books will be released!
Keep Gliding!
