Hi, colony friends! The boys and I are here with a small update.
Winter weather here was the craziest it’s been in years, but we all cozied up and made the most of it. Despite being the same color as the snow, Rufus especially did not care at all for it! He was happiest when he was bundled up in a pile of glider-sized blankets.
Yip has been hard at work surveying our new home… from the safety of my shoulders. He has decided to investigate everything here from a distance, because most of the stuff makes strange and funny noises!
Meanwhile, Isaac and Leo are fully settled in and enjoying all of the snacks that they can weasel out of me with their cute little eyes. They are messy eaters, as you can tell!
Their new snacking spot while I prepare their dinner is a plastic fish bowl turned on its side. It came with a soft penguin cover! Leo, Isaac, and Rufus enjoy it, but Yip prefers to stay with me and watch what I’m doing. I think he is practicing to become a supervisor someday.
In case you may have missed it, Glider Tales 3: Woodland Wonderland was released on Feb 18. In the latest adventure, the gliders get to meet all sorts of nocturnal animals that live outside! Someone has been stealing too much food, which goes against the rules of the woodlands. It is up to the gliders to sort everyone out before all rules break down and peace disappears!
I am excited to report that Glider Tales 4 is in the planning stages! My goal is to write the story over the course of spring, with the aim for a mid-late summer release. This book, much like Jumping Joeys!, will be based on things that actually happened. You will get to experience true events alongside of the boys!
